The focus of Münir’s research is to understand Turkish speakers’ antecedent preferences when they encounter a reflexive in complex Turkish sentences. The study also examines how Turkish-speakers of English process reflexives in English. It specifically investigates whether L2 speakers of English benefit from structural information or semantic information while assigning antecedents to a reflexive.
